Daniel Pearl, Lies and Terrorist

Who did Daniel Pearl invade? What military violation of a foreign country was of his doing? I bet his wife and Daniel could "get over" his captors humiliating him by taking nude photos of his hooded body. After they killed him, did the people involved issue an apology? Did the media go after the Heads of State of these captors?

There are no secrets in Washington, DC. Did you ever hear of Watergate? Reagan's anal exam results? Clinton's nonsexual oral sex experiences? Of course you did, why? No secrets!

Several internet post indicate a belief that President Bush and his administration knew of 9/11, have secret plans for world domination, and are lying to the American public.

If your belief in this lie is firm, then to be intellectually honest, you must ask:

1. How many Democrats are in on the scandal and why are they protecting President Bush?

2. How many bureaucrats are keeping this quite, and why, since they work for both parties?

3. Why would so many Americans join the military to serve this country, swear an oath to protect the US Constitution, and then trash all that they believe in to "cover-up and protect" those individuals that are doing just the opposite?

I spent twenty years in the US military and have friends and family still in the military. I have friends and family that work for both state and national government agencies. Not one of them would keep quite over a hint of wrongdoing. I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States when I joined the military, not a political party. I still hold to that oath though retired from active service.

There is only one truth and thousands of lies. If part of your statement is false then it is not the truth.

Sadam did have WMD's. He used them against Iran during their eight-year war. He used them against 50,000 plus Kurds in northern Iraq, killing over 5,000. The United Nations documented the destruction of some of them after the first war with Iraq.

Sadam offered $25,000 to any terrorist's families for killing Israelis and/or Americans. I watched the State of the Union Address; President Bush said "we will hunt down terrorist and those Nations that protect them."

The weapon of mass destruction issue was a media created controversy. The media sensationalized the WMD's issue to attract viewers and get more advertising dollars. This same media provided us with "experts" who told us 10,000 American solders would be killed in a ground war. The war would take years to fight. That other Arab nations would join in a "Holy Jihad" against America and possibly start world war III. The media experts were wrong.

I have read Jamie Gorelick's memo 1995, the PDB of Aug 6, 2001, and this one; On October 9, 1998, some members of the US Senate sent a letter to Bill Clinton expressing their concerns about Sadam and his weapons program.

That letter contained this paragraph:
"We urge you, after consulting with Congress and consistent with the US Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions [including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites] to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction program."
That letter was signed by Tom Daschle, Carl Levin, and John Kerry. Three Senators, one a probable Democratic nominee for president, who are now slamming George Bush for acting on the very intelligence they relied on for their 1998 letter to their president, Bill Clinton.

How about some other names of people who believed that Sadam had a weapons program and a stockpile of WMD's? Let's put Nancy Pelosi on that list, and there's Clinton's Secretary of State Madeline Albright. Al Gore said, "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." Ted Kennedy said, "We have known for many years that Sadam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." How about some more from John Kerry? On October 9, 2002, Kerry said, "I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real grave threat to our security." In January 2003, Kerry said, "So the threat of Sadam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real." Now the liberals want us to believe that there never were WMD's in Iraq.

WMD's either exist or everyone involved with the American government is lying, the UN was lying, the Kurds and the Iranians were lying. The total of Sadam's WMD's could be hidden in one back yard swimming pool or divided into smaller containers, placed into dry wells and buried in less than a couple of hours; all of this in a country the size of California. Another possibility, which is more trouble some, is that the WMD's that were there are now not there. Meaning the war on terrorism could still have some deadly surprises.

The war is against militant Islamic terrorist. Bin Laden "officially" declared this war in 1998, the USA was slow to respond to this war and some American are slow in understanding what this war is about.

Militant Islamic terrorist attacked the USA before we attacked Iraq, so to say that the terrorist are going to attack us because we attacked Iraq can mean only one thing. Whether we do not do something, or we do something; terrorist are going to attack America. To weep that we are going to make militant Islamic terrorist not like us by our actions has been voided by their actions.

We have a choice: we can let the terrorist attack us and win the pity of the world as we die by the thousands, or we can eliminate most of the terrorist and deter the rest by demonstrating the deadly high price they and their families will be forced to pay.

Who are you going to vote for? Both parties and candidates have made basically the same statements. One party is doing their best to act on this information for America. The other party is doing their best act for their return to power.
